It is Friday afternoon, and like many Fridays, there is a stick of vendor forms awaiting completion. Like usual, there are a handful (this time five) different forms, with many of the same questions requiring a lot of excessive typing.
This was the first time we were asked to complete such extensive documentation since starting this company, and it was going to be the first time I truly got to eat our own dog food.
Our internal instance already had great source documentation, including:
With all of that knowledge, it was off to the races: time to upload the documentation to begin answering the questions.
Like usual, each document was formatted differently— PDFs, Word Docs, and CSVs, oh my!

Now IRIS is drafting answers to each question, showing sources and assigning questions for review... all while I am writing a blog post about how awesome AI is.
